Dave
Pluck completed an economics degree at Liverpool University
and then worked for his father until 1980 when he left to setup
his own business with one shop in Widnes, Cheshire. He has now been
in the business for 30 years. Dave has a life long interest in motor
cycles, is a member of MENSA, and a daughter Anna studying acupuncture.

Frank
Seymour entered the world of bookmaking, after a brief
career in Accountancy, learning the trade from a northern independent.
He later became a Regional Director of the William Hill organisation
a position held for over 10 years. In 1997 he joined the Dave Pluck
company as Managing Director having previously been involved with
the company in a consultancy capacity. |

Nick
Thompson started in the betting industry as a Saturday
cashier for Stanley's whilst at university in 1995, staying on at
Stanley's to become a successful shop manager. He has a keen interest
in football, and ran football-training courses for Stanley's before
joining Dave Plucks in January 2002 as part of the line management
structure. Originating from Manchester, and a United Fan, Nick now
lives in Burnley with his wife Janella and young daughter Abbey and
son Jack. |

Dom Grundy has over 25 years in the industry starting out as board marking for local company Aerial racing in 1981. Company was taken over then by Fred Done and ran many shops before being appointed Area Manager in 2001. Always had a keen interest in horse racing from my early days (Brother was National Hunt Jockey before injury curtailed his career in England. Before resumed it in Norway) In recent years had that interest strengthened through part owning a number of horses, best one Young Gladiator who won at Southwell for us. Life long Liverpool fan, always loved rock music, favourite band UFO. Have now joined Dave Pluck with the hope that all experience gained over the years can help the company move forward.

David Meagh, supervisor here now, started in the betting industry 27 years ago as boardmarker with Ladbrokes whilst studying at college, staying on to become shop manager and district supervisor in the Manchester area. David has been a keen musician for 30 years playing in pubs and clubs throughout the country. Originating from Manchester and a keen Manchester City fan David now lives in Lancashire with his wife Donna and children Kate, Lucy, Jack and oh not to forget the horse Leo!!

Brian Clarke joined the company in 1989 as a board marker, and progressed to cashier, then shop Manager, and is Trading Controller. Brian and his wife Nina have a baby girl, Danielle May. And new addition to the family a baby boy in Jan 08 Lewis Robert. In his spare time Brian enjoys eating out, playing snooker and golf and also supports Tranmere rovers & Liverpool.

Duncan Bell started working for the company as a student cashier while at Liverpool University. After graduating, his enjoyment of the job lead to him staying with the company and training to become a shop manager. He has worked in a number of shops around the Liverpool/Merseyside area, and has also trained to act as one of the company's trading controllers. Outside of work Duncan enjoys going racing, watching Liverpool FC recent Euro champions and charity shield holders and going to the cinema. |
